Trip Itinerary: Ha Noi – Ha Giang city – Quan Ba - Yen Minh – Lung Cu – Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Ha Noi.
ITINERARY:
Night 01: Ha Noi – Ha Giang City (350 Km – overnight on the cabin bus)
19h30: Pick you up at our office in Ha Noi Old Quarter.
(Note: for those coming from Sapa town, pick-up time is at 19h00)
21h00: Departure from Ha Noi Old Quarter.
22h00: Pick up at Noi Bai airport.
23h30: Bus stops at the rest stop.
03h30: The bus will drop you at our office in Ha Giang City. Here we provide a free room for you to rest a few hours before your trip begins.
Days 01: Ha Giang city – Quan Ba - Lung Cu – Dong Van Town. (175 km: B /L /D)
07h30: Have breakfast at Rocks Ha Giang Hostel.
08h00: The tour guide will pick you up and you’ll meet the group. Immediately after, we’ll embark on a sightseeing trip around the Ha Giang Loop:

Km0 square. This marks the center of Ha Giang and serves as the starting point of the Happiness Road, a 175 km route from the city to Dong Van town.

Bac Sum Pass – This is the first slope welcoming you to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark’’. At this point, we will simply drive through.

Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba – Stop to capture the picturesque view of the Nui Doi twin mountains at the top of the slope.

Can Ty Pass – Reaching an altitude of 1000- 1200 meters above sea level, marvel at the breathtaking and majestic scenery.
12h00: Enjoy a lunch of local local food at Yen Minh small town before continuing the trip:

Tham Ma pass – Stop at the summit of the slope to enjoy the stunning landscape. To reach this point, you’ll traverse 9 interesting passages.

Visit at Sung La Valley and Lung Cam Village – Explore this small village with classic Hmong houses featuring stone fences.

Visit Hmong King’s Palace – In the past, this palace was the residence of the most powerful Hmong people, designed in a unique Chinese style.
17h00: Arrive in Dong Van town and check into the hotel.

Dong Van district marks the starting point of Vietnam, sharing a border stretching hunderds of kilometers with China. The population mainly comprises various ethnic minorities, including Hmong, Tay, Nung, Lo Lo, Co Lao, San Chi, San Diu,... among others, with Hmong with being the predominant group (about 70%). One of the most renowned attractions is the Dong Van old Quarter, historically a significant trading center and maintaining its importance to this day. On Sunday mornings, Dong Van Old Town bustles with a lively market where locals from all around gather to buy and sell goods.

19h30: Ẹnjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.
Days 02: Dong Van – Lung Cu - Meo Vac (80 km: B/ L/ D)
07h00: Have breakfast. After we are check out hotel and then go to Lung Cu with some point visit:
(On Sunday mornings, you can attend the local market of ethnic people at Dong Van town)

Lung Cu Flag Pole

Lo Lo Chai village localted at the foot of Long Son mountain and is the home of the Lo Lo minority people. The village still has unique houses and friendly people. You can visit here on foot.

Ma Le Village – is the village of the Dzay ethnic minority.
12h30: Come back for lunch at Dong Van town. Then driving on the road with special name “Happiness” to visit:

Ma Pi Leng Pass – Situated at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level, offering a spectacular mountainous view between Vietnam and China, with the Nho Que river below. A great spot for sightseeing and photography. Pai Lung - is the village of the Hmong ethnic minority.

We explore Nho Que river by boat and then visit Meo Vac town.
16h30: Arrive at Pa Vi village in Meo Vac and check into the homestay.
19h00: Enjoy dinner at homestay and unwind.
Days 03: Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Ha Noi. (480 km: B /L)
07h00: Enjoy breakfast and check out of the homestay before returning to Ha Giang city. En route, you have the opportunities to visit:

Meo Vac town – Meo Vac is a highland district adjacent to the China border. The district has a sparse population and is predominantly inhabited by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. The Hmong people have a custom of living in the high and challenging mountain ranges.
(on Sunday mornings, they gather to trade and meet at Meo Vac town market)

Lung Tam village – A handicraft village of the Hmong people located in the middle of Lung Tam valley.

Nam Dam village – A beautiful and peaceful small village of the Dao people, approximately 2 km from Quan Ba town, renowned for its houses built with local soil and herbal medicines.
13h00: Enjoy lunch at Quan Ba town.
16h00: Arrive Rocks Ha Giang Hostel to relax with a welcome drink (free choice of 01 beer or 01 juice) and a complimentary shower. Then, you can wait for the bus to pick you up for your journey back to HaNoi or Sa Pa.

16h00: By Limousine Bus.
21h00: By Sleeping Bus – 04h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.
+ OPT 2: Ha Giang – Sa Pa.
19h00: By Sleeping Bus – 03h00. Arrive in SaPa.
